Jesus Had A Beard

I tried this out myself, and it is completely true. This much I know - Touchdown Jesus would be proud. I was made aware of this fun fact via the wonderful AHTBM. In the words of the Lord, "live long and prosper."

Weird Beard: Most Amazing Science Images of 2010 Edition

I don't know who the dude in the background of this digital representation of a photograph is, but that is one gnarly beard if ever there was one.

BikeSnobNYC Trusts The Beard

I prefer to receive information from the amply-bearded, for beards are authoritative and lend the wearer's words additional credence and gravitas. In fact, when told something by the smoothly-shaven or naturally hairless, I am usually skeptical and will often seek out a bearded person for corroboration. [Via BikeSnobNYC.]

The Trustworthiness of Beards - An Infographical Inspection

This wonderful item recently presented itself in my electronic mail inbox. A big bearded thanks to Bad-Ass Beth for sending it my way. I think the creator(s) pretty much hit the nail on the head with this one, boy howdy.

Musical Beards and What-Not: Sten-Åkes

The Sten-Åkes

Behold the Sten-Åkes in all of their pogonological glory! (With the exception of the "mom" figure in the center of this digital representation of a photograph, of course.)

For those not yet in-the-know, Svenska Dansband.se is a treasure trove of forgotten and obscure Swedish Dance Band digital representations of photographs. You can bet your bottom dollar on that. Naturally, this site is where I obtained the image of Sten-Åkes. But you probably already had that one figured out.

The Beard of the Techno Viking

Would the Techno Viking still be the Techno Viking without his beard?

I doubt it.

The Worth of a Beard

There have been a number of occasions during which I was offered monies in exchange for the shaving of my beard. I have yet to accept any of these often paltry sums of money, much like the vast majority of bearded men in this video.

Special thanks to Tommy Two Arms for the link.

Beauty & The Beard

Bearded Man Al Hirt and Non-bearded Woman Ann-Margret collaborated on the above LP way back in 1964. Beauty and the Beard, Ann-Margret's only charting album, wound up topping out at #83 on the charts. Behold, the Power of the Beard.

Perhaps this poetical excerpt by Tushar Imdad-ul-Haque Bhuiya says it best:

Glorified be He who beautifies women with long locks of hair
And Men with long beards
There is beauty in the beard
Aye, there is beauty in the beard!

Notice also the size of Al Hirt's head. Amazing.
