Bearded Man Al Hirt and Non-bearded Woman Ann-Margret collaborated on the above LP way back in 1964. Beauty and the Beard, Ann-Margret's only charting album, wound up topping out at #83 on the charts. Behold, the Power of the Beard.Perhaps this poetical excerpt by Tushar Imdad-ul-Haque Bhuiya says it best:
Glorified be He who beautifies women with long locks of hair
And Men with long beards
There is beauty in the beard
Aye, there is beauty in the beard!
Notice also the size of Al Hirt's head. Amazing.
