Fingerstaches - A Fake Facial Hair Trend Alert

Keeping with the subject of false facial hair, there is a relatively new trend happening somewhere near you as I write this. This trend is none other than the "fingerstache." Fingerstaches have been with us for quite sometime, however, this latest amalgamation requires a tattoo'd moustache on what I've always referred to as a "pointer finger."

Observe:
The young lady pictured presumably cannot or will not grow an actual moustache. But, if the occasion should arise that she needs a horrible disguise, she will be prepared...unless wearing gloves or mittens, or a glove/mitten hybrid. This fetching young moustache is the tamest example. This is not to say that it is the most work-appropriate manifestation, however.

Observe:How this was or could ever be qualified as "a good idea," I know not. My pogonological knowledge does not extend into the same sphere as the above moustache manifestation. But it is not my place to judge him or his imitation moustache. I salute the young man for his commitment to the moustache in all its glorious forms. And I shall sleep soundly at night knowing that somewhere out there, a moustache is coated in saliva in the dark of an anonymous mouth. As one might expect, there are also cases of moustache redundancy.

Observe:
This man is prepared for the day when the moustache shall one day no longer be the quasi-fashionable facial accessory that it is today. So for the time being he does his best with both the real deal, and the tattoo'd substitute. And I say good for him.

I shall do my best to uncover more of these interesting pogonological subjects for you, gentle cyber-reader. Special thanks to Sarah for helping me to solve the mystery of the fingerstache.
