Great Beards in History: Ľudovít Štúr
Via The Wikipedia.On this installment of "Great Beards in History" we have a central figure from the movement for Slovakian national identity, Ľudovít Štúr. You can learn more about the man here. A finer neck beard I have rarely stumbled upon in the course of my pogonological studies, to be sure.

Also of historical note, Slovakia defeated Italy today in World Cup group play 3 goals to 2, knocking the Italians out of the group stage for the first time since 1974.
