The rising popularity of both the Moog synthesizer and the moustache conveniently intersect in the final years of the 1960s and into the early 1970s. Bob Moog's modular synthesizers really hit their stride after the release of Wendy Carlos's Switched On Bach. Unfortunately, Wendy does not sport a lip sweater. Here we find another fan of the the Moog, Edd Kalehoff, who has a moustache, shilling out for Schaefer Beer:
